There are several ways to support DSNZ with ongoing developments.

volunteersFirstly, there is only one part time staff (10 hours per week); National Sports Administrator who works in the office in Wellington.

With three regional zones; Northern, Central and Southern most Deaf people who are playing sport/s are fundraising themselves to cover travel, accommodation and sporting fees. Your help would be beneficial.

Lastly, the host committee are usually very busy with organising the New Zealand Deaf Games (NZDG), which takes place in Labour Weekend every year. Your contribution to the host committee, i.e. organising over 10 sporting events, fundraising drives, interpreting services, and many other voluntary tasks would be much appreciated. If you have any other ideas of how can you help DSNZ, we would love to hear from you.
